Job Description
We are currently looking for a licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic and or 310T Truck Mechanic. ** Apprentices Level 3 and up are encouraged to apply **
$1,500.00 sign on bonus (paid out after 90 days of employment)
Pay Rate: $30 to $40 per hour
This is a full-time, permanent position with highly competitive wages (salary or hourly options available)

Requirements
This position would report directly to Management. A successful candidate will have a clean drivers abstract. Be a hard-working individual that recognizes the value of safety in the workplace. Have an eye for perfection. Be capable of working in a team environment or individually. We would like you to have: · Experience as a mechanic in the aggregate/construction industry · Experience operating heavy equipment in a safe manner · Experience with screen plants, wash plants, heavy construction equipment, hydraulic and diesel systems · Common Core/Surface Minor (can provide) · First Aid & CPR Certificate (can provide) Tasks include but not limited to: · Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment · Perform maintenance and repairs on various equipment · Ability to work extended hours (up to 12 hours per shift) · Ability to lift 50 pounds · Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment · Perform daily pre and post inspections · Perform general labor duties or other duties as required · Follow all company policies, procedures and Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
Education/Certificates
Ability to commute/relocate: Collingwood, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: Heavy Duty Mechanic: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) 310T Certification or Level 3 Apprentice (required)
